for parent company Ford, as the brand was named after Henry Ford's only
son - its unique looks have ensured its collectability. And the rarer
a model is, the more collectable it becomes, which is why the Bermuda
is probably one of the most sought-after in the range. When it arrived,
the Bermuda was available in either six- or nine-seater configuration,
the latter costing just $57 more for the extra seats. The car truly was
a family vehicle, with such convenient extras as Tele Touch auto transmission,
where the gear-selection buttons were in a circular pattern in the centre
of the steering wheel, and air-conditioning, power windows, and even power
lubrication, which greased all the steering and front suspension points
at the touch of a button. The car was a very smooth drive and had plenty
of power for long hauls too.
