scene, the Monte Carlo is one of the most chosen cars to modify. ts suspension
is ideal, being double wishbone front and a live axle rear supported on
coil springs, to use hydraulic rams in place of the coils and shocks,
therefore giving a fully moving set-up capable of doing any number of
lowrider tricks. Yet even within the lowrider movement, fragmentation
of styles has occurred and the cars which move now have their own competitions,
while the show finish machines dual it out in huge halls where they can
be displayed to maximum effect. Cars such as this show machine rarely
get driven; inside it features an immaculate crushed-velour interior with
no dash but a 6-inch (152 mm) TV screen in the centre console. The interior
extends into the trunk and externally there's a meticulously detailed
flake paint with pinstriping and murals.
