What do I do if I do not have access to my CARFAX Account email?
Answer
CARFAX forwards the following information to your Account email:
· Purchase receipts
· Password reminders and change confirmations
· Account email changes
· Copies of all the CARFAX
Vehicle History Reports and CARFAX Safety
& Reliability Reports you run
Please update your Account email if it changes so you can receive this important information.
You may change your Account e-mail from the Account Holder Access page or the Account Holder Welcome page by following these steps:
1. Click on the “account e-mail” link located in this line of text: “Want to change your password or account e-mail?”
2. Complete the Change Your Account E-mail page and click Submit. If the e-mail address you specified is already in use in our database, you will be asked to choose another one.
3. Confirmation is provided on the Account Holder Welcome page and will be e-mailed to your new Account e-mail address.
Once completed, you will be logged into your account. You will need to use
your new account email the next time you log in. All email from CARFAX will
now be directed to your new account e-mail.
